Herbert Bachhofer also known to us as Shantisan discovered his passion for music many years ago and organizes regular parties under the title of “salted soul”. With his release “bring back the bossa rock” he had a minor hit in the UK for two weeks, reaching number one of the Juno Broken Beats charts. Now he returns with “favela funk” a track for which he managed to win the vocal talents of Micheline Cardoso from Rio de Janeiro. Micheline enjoys great popularity in Brasil and Portugal and gives the track that special something. Stefan Obermaier brings the whole thing to perfection with a wicked organ solo. The motto of the track is without a doubt “Bossa Latin” and holding your feet still just doesnīt seem possible.
