Finally the time has come for the first releae of Ed Royals new album “live your dreams”. The album has attracted worldwide rave reviews and has been highly praised by radio stations and the press.
“hiphop to funk feat. Badkat & Lady Daisey” has been remixed by a Canadian, Australian and an Austrian from Edīs hometown of Innsbruck and the results can be heard! The way in which Ed Royal runs his record label “Innvision-Records” can be heard in the very varied styles of the remixes. Nick Fonkyson jaacks up the beat right from the start of the single and gives the track a definitive funky break beat flair, underlining BadKats vocals with a funky bass guaranteeing to make any dance floor tremble. Omegaman from Australia uses only the vocals elements and adds his own very special and VERY funky instrumental style. Funky beats share the sound stage with the organ, guitar and violin and the bombastic bass rounds off his mix very nicely. Last but not least we hear Dan Vans & Stefan Obermayr contribution to the hiphop to funk mayhem, the bad boys from Edīs hometown Innsbruck. They manages to turn the track into something a little more chilling. Relaxed beats, mixed up vocals and the sudden presence of a reggae bass means we can sit back and take it easy! We then round off with the original Ed Royal single featuring the very talented BadKat from Atlanta now enjoying herself in Berlin. WORD UP!!
